Heleen Mineur
HomeHeleen Mineur (1994, NL) pays a cross-media homage to nuances of contemporary chaos/care. Rhythmic works knit together script, (moving) image and relics; in sonic, symbolic or tangible form. Her practice explores the semantics and bitter-sweet tropes of the Now; through confabulated theories, poetic-satiric voices and neuro-queer subtext.
The study in scores and the possibilities of narration resonates with her teaching practice (HKu a.o.), in which she continuously shapes and extends her own curriculum. Together with Levi van Gelder they are CCC, Celebrating the Counterfactual of the Contemporary in writings, video and workshops.
From November on, Heleen will start a year-long artistic research trajectory: investigating the history of Bipolar Disorder through fictional documentary film, with the support of KF Hein Fonds.
